14 DAYS OF BLENDS WE LOVE!


Everyday leading up to Valentine's Day, we posted some of the blends we love and why we love them! Here is a recap of all 14 amazing blends!

FEBRUARY 1MOCHA MATÉ & BERRY 
Prepared hot and served with honey.
Our team likes to refer to this blend as Chocolate Covered Berries!


Mocha Mate is one of the higher caffeinated teas that OBTC carries. It gives you the energy without the jitters or the crash that coffee can sometimes cause! It is high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and is a fat burner!

Berry is also high in antioxidants! In our Berry blend is hibiscus, which helps lower high blood pressure and bad cholesterol.

FEBRUARY 2POMEGRANATE GREEN & PEPPERMINT
Served iced with Desert Wildflower Honey & fresh squeezed lime (and a dash of ginger ale & rum - a mojito inspired tea cocktail)!

This blend is a surprising treat for a curious palate! Pomegranate + Peppermint is brilliant!

Pomegranate Green tea is great for promoting weight loss, reducing the risk of diabetes, reducing bad cholesterol, helps prevent Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's, prevents tooth decay and is full of antioxidants!

Peppermint has many digestive tract benefits. It also relieves nausea, stress, headaches, inflammation, and helps with bad breath!

FEBRUARY 3: AMERICAN WILDFLOWER & LAVENDER FLOWERS
Served hot with or without honey! 
We love this blend right before bed!


American Wildflower is a very soothing blend of VANILLA ROOIBOS, PEPPERMINT, CHAMOMILE, and LEMONGRASS! Vanilla Rooibos is good for headaches, stress relief, asthma and allergy relief, insomnia, osteoporosis and skin health. Peppermint is good for headaches, stress relief and nausea relief! Chamomile is very calming and relaxing, and helps soothes an upset stomach! And Lemongrass is an anti-inflammatory, soothing sore muscles, joints and headaches. It is also anti-viral, helping to fight and prevent colds!

Lavender is known to lift spirits, diminish nausea, soothe upset stomachs, and promote relaxation. It can also relieve headaches from stress and exhaustion.

FEBRUARY 4: BLUEBERRY & LEMONGRASS
Served iced with Orange Blossom Honey.
This blend might be our favorite way to hydrate during the day! Its refreshing, fruity, and caffeine free! 


Blueberry is full of antioxidants! Our Blueberry blend contains hibiscus, which helps lower high blood pressure and bad cholesterol.

Lemongrass is an anti-inflammatory, soothing sore muscles, joints and headaches. It is also anti-viral, helping to fight and prevent colds!

FEBRUARY 5: COCONUT BLACK VANILLA ROOIBOS

Served iced with a dash of Desert Wildflower Honey and cream!

It’s like a dessert-y pick me up that also helps you relax!

Coconut Black promotes alertness, energy, fights diabetes, soothes osteoporosis symptoms and boosts metabolism.

Vanilla Rooibos is good for headaches, stress relief, asthma and allergy relief, insomnia, osteoporosis relief and skin health.

FEBRUARY 6: TROPICAL BLACK & LAVENDER SAGE LEMONADE

Served iced with Orange Blossom Honey & fresh squeezed lemon!

If you like Arnold Palmers, you’ll love this combination! Fresh squeezed lemon is a game changer! 

Tropical Black Tea promotes alertness, energy, fights diabetes, relieves osteoporosis and boosts metabolism. 

Lavender Sage Lemonade is blended with lavender, sage leaves, lemongrass, Lemon myrtle and lemon peel. It is very soothing, great for thyroid health, is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, very soothing and immune boosting.

FEBRUARY 7: JASMINE WHITE MONKEY & BLOOD ORANGE

Served iced with Orange Blossom Honey

Kind of funky and fresh!

Jasmine White Monkey tea is good for promoting weight loss, reducing the risk of diabetes, reducing bad cholesterol, helps prevent Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's, helps prevent tooth decay and is full of antioxidants!

Blood Orange is full of Vitamin C! In the Blood Orange blend is hibiscus, which helps lower high blood pressure and bad cholesterol.

FEBRUARY 8: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN & VANILLA ROOIBOS

Served hot with Mountain Gamble Oak Honey (and a splash of whisky!)

Fire on the Mountain is smoky and peppery. We used to joke it was a whisky drinker’s tea… and then we actually tried it with whisky! We definitely recommend it! 

Fire on the Mountain is a honeybush tea, which treats cough and other cold symptoms, is anti-inflammatory, improves the sleep cycle, enhances liver health and prevents harmful skin damage.

Vanilla Rooibos is good for headaches, stress relief, asthma and allergy relief, insomnia, osteoporosis and skin health.

FEBRUARY 9: PRICKLY PEAR & LEMONGRASS

Served iced with or without honey!

This blend is so refreshing and has just a tiny bit of caffeine!

Prickly Pear is a blend of Green Rooibos tea and Sencha Green Tea. Rooibos is good for headaches, stress relief, asthma and allergy relief, insomnia, osteoporosis and skin health. Green Tea is good for promoting weight loss, reducing the risk of diabetes, reducing bad cholesterol, helps prevent Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's, helps prevent tooth decay and is full of antioxidants! Hibiscus is also in this blend and it helps lower high blood pressure and bad cholesterol.

Lemongrass is an anti-inflammatory, soothing sore muscles, joints and headaches. It is also anti-viral, helping to fight and prevent colds!

FEBRUARY 10: PEPPERMINT & LEMONGRASS

This blend… we just can’t explain.  You’ll just have to try it and then spend the rest of your life as obsessed as we are!

​This is one of our most popular blends, not only because it is the best hangover cure, but it is also so soothing and relaxing! It helps relieve nausea and upset stomach, provides allergy and anxiety relief, promotes sleep and healthy skin.

 

FEBRUARY 11: VALLEY ORCHARD MEDLEY & GINGER 

Served iced with Orange Blossom Honey!

An acquired taste, this blend is spicy, earthy and makes a fierce iced tea!

Valley Orchard Medley is an oolong tea, rich in vitamins and minerals, improves mental health, helps maintain alertness, weight management, and helps treat eczema and skin.

Ginger is anti-inflammatory and full of antioxidants, treats many forms of nausea, helps lower blood sugar and cholesterol, and fights against Alzheimer's.

FEBRUARY 12: GUAYUSA & PEPPERMINT

Served hot with or without honey. 

Yerba maté fans meet Guayusa: even more caffeine and earthiness! Refresh and recharge!

Guayusa, similar to maté, is high in caffeine, giving you an energy boost without the jitters or the crash that coffee can sometimes cause! It is also full of vitamins and minerals.

Wild Strawberry is a white tea! White tea helps lower high blood pressure and bad cholesterol, is high in antioxidants, aids in Alzheimer’s prevention, relieves Parkinson’s symptoms, promotes strong bones, is antiviral, and promotes healthy skin, teeth and gums.

It tastes like birthday cake but it’s so good for you!
