GREEN TEA

Hello fellow tea lovers! So far we've talked about the amazing health benefits of PU ERH TEA, ROOIBOS TEA, and WHITE TEA. With the May 2019 Tea of the Month being STRAWBERRY MOJITO GREEN TEA, let's talk about why GREEN TEAS are so great! Green tea is made by withering and oxidizing leaves from the Camellia sinensis plant. This delicate leaf does not like to be steeped in overly hot water as it can quickly become astringent tasting.  We recommend steeping between 170 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Green teas also reduce bad cholesterol, help regulate blood sugars, and improve brain function. Green teas contain polyphenols. Polyphenols and catechins...

IRISH PU ERH

All of us at OBTC love PU ERH TEAS, but IRISH PU ERH is quite unique. It is a bright, fruit-forward, refreshing spin on a Pu Erh Tea blend It is a great workout companion and fitness boosting blend It's ingredients are not Irish in origin but it was inspired by a cute little tea shop in Dublin and is now one of our team favorites. Bailey says, "Being a Pu Erh lover, I immediately gravitated towards the small selection of Pu Erh teas. A tea blended with Pu Erh, YERBA MATÉ, and LEMONGRASS caught my eye because those are some of my favorite ingredients but I had never...
