Spice of the Month: Lavender Flowers
Our LAVENDER FLOWERS are beautifully and aromatically dried from France. They make a lovely floral addition to teas, baked goods, baths, and cocktails!
Danté from our Old Town Albuquerque store paired our Lavender Flowers with Earl Grey tea leaves, Mesquite Honey, and Vietnamese Cinnamon to make a Lavender Tea Loaf! This loaf is so amazing when paired with an Enchanted Lavender Earl Grey latte, which brings out the Earl Grey and Lavender flavors beautifully. Essential Oil of the Month: Bergamot
BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL has a fresh, spicy-sweet aroma. It is best used to soothe anxious or sad feelings, is a powerful purifying agent for the skin, and used in massage therapy for its calming benefits.
I grew up by the ocean, and summertime months meant sunny mornings and afternoons spent at the beach! I moved to New Mexico in May, right before some of the summertime feels started sinking in. That summer I was so homesick, I was wishing my bum was planted in the sand, soaking up the sun rays, and smelling the salty air from the ocean! I tried so many ways that first summer to bring the beach feels from my hometown to my new house in New Mexico! I decorated my home with beach pictures, installed a light that projected water ripples on my bedroom ceiling, downloaded soundtracks of the waves, and burned all of the candles with tropical scents! I was so excited to learn that essential oils can create a tropical smell when blended together as well! Check out this Tropical Dreaming diffuser essential oil blend! 👇
