STAY HAPPY & HEALTHY ALL WINTER LONG: GOOD WINTER HABITS
Try this for a week…
Get sunshine EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. It is hard to be motivated to go outside when it is so cold: trust us, we get it. However, it is absolutely worth bundling up and getting outside to get your dose of vitamin D from the sun! This will help to uplift your mood and keep you healthy during a season when many people experience feelings of seasonal depression.
Stay active: stretch, dance, do yoga, or anything else you can do to keep your muscles feeling warm and alive in the cold weather! You don't have to designate a special time for this: try stretching out your back or legs while folding laundry, dance and wiggle your way around your house when cooking or tidying, or try squeezing in a light workout during a time you'd normally be seated on the couch (like while reading a book or watching a movie).
Schedule a friend date: this time of year we spend A LOT of time with our family and significant others. Take time to relax with a friend you haven't seen in a while: it might offer you a refreshing perspective and give you a necessary break from your loved ones so you can enjoy them more when you're around them. Space is a good thing and maintaining friendships is something you'll never regret!

THERE ARE ALSO MANY HERBS THAT HELP TO NATURALLY ELEVATE YOUR MOOD! TRY CONSUMING MORE TEAS WITH THE FOLLOWING…
Ginseng: Our traditional tea, JADE GINSENG OOLONG, is a wonderful treat with ginseng! This blend can help to increase mental focus during the workday and to improve your overall mood.
Lavender, Lemon Balm, & Rosehips: We have many lavender blends to choose from but one of our favorite combinations that has all three of these ingredients is LAVENDER SAGE LEMONADE WITH BLUEBERRY. It makes an amazing iced or hot blend and has a natural sweetness so you can go with or without honey!
Milk Thistle: Our Cleanse Tea has milk thistle and it is a great tea for anyone looking to detox after the holiday season! This blend has recently become a topic of discussion for our family and team because one of our friends lost 30 pounds last year drinking IRISH PU ERH blended with CLEANSE. We're sort of all thinking we might have to try this…
Happy tea time friends! Stay warm!
