EASY BREEZY ICED TEA 🍹

Here is how we make our iced tea.

It's really pretty easy. 😊

If you've ever been to one of our storefronts, you might have tried iced tea from one of our favorite iced tea pitchers. Every morning we make pitchers of iced tea for sampling, but we use this same pitcher at home to prep tea for our friends and families! This Flash Chill Iced Tea Maker is a must have tea making tool for your kitchen!

Here's why we love it & how to use it.

Flash Chill Iced Tea Maker

These iced tea makers are easy to use and long lasting. Some of our team members have had these iced tea makers for over six years! The pitcher can make 2 full quarts of tea at a time, and is airtight so the integrity of the tea is maintained if you want to store it in the fridge for a few days. The infuser comes with a drip cup for ease of preparation and the entire pitcher is dishwasher safe.

Many of us here at OBTC have more than a few of these at home, so we can keep iced tea options in our fridge. Sometimes we want Summerville Sweet Tea during lunch and an herbal Berry and Chamomile lemonade for dinner. It's nice to have both prepped and ready to go!

How do you make iced tea in the this pitcher? Here's how...

Step 1: To make a perfect cup of tea we recommend using 1-2 tsp. of tea per 8 ounces of water. For 2 quarts, we recommend using at least 8 tsp. of tea for the pitcher. If you like your tea stronger, try using 16 tsp. of tea. Add your tea to the infuser and place inside the pitcher.

Step 2: Pour your hot water over your tea leaves to the halfway mark on the pitcher and allow tea to steep for the recommended time on the label of the tea tin.

Step 3: Take the infuser out of pitcher and place into the drip cup.

Optional: Add honey while tea is still warm.

Step 4: Add ice to fill the other half of the pitcher, and then shake! Serve immediately or store in fridge.

Take tea to go!

Spring is coming! The official first day of spring is March 20th, and we are so excited to get outside, get active and enjoy the sun.

Try these tea blends iced. Trust us, they are so refreshing served iced!
