The grooves on the honey dipper stick catch the honey when the stick is dipped into the jar - to add honey to tea just tilt to the side and honey will delicately flow into your cup. It's much easier and less messy than twirling a spoon from honey jar to tea cup! We chose olive wood because it is just the most beautiful: this matters to us.
