NOURISHING COMMUNITY 👯‍♀️


Your sense of belonging is so important.

This month we are focusing on socializing and nourishing our communities. Belonging to a community (even if it is just a few people) can be incredibly fulfilling and increases your sense of well-being, which can reduce the risk of many health issues.
 Here are some journal prompts to get you thinking.

Reflect on what you have to work with.

Do you have a group of people in your life that could use more of your time and energy? Write down why you don't participate as often as you would like. Then, think about how you could overcome these obstacles and better nourish this community. Write down what you could accomplish in your life if you had the right people supporting and guiding you. If you don't feel like you have this community already, how can you build it?

Choose the right social circles.

Look at the communities you participate in and think about how they make you feel. Are there certain groups/people that make you feel energized? Or maybe even some that drain you? Pay attention to how you feel after spending time with people so you can choose to be around those who uplift and inspire you.

Think about your past communities.

Maybe you once were part of a sports team or a club. Think about the communities that resonated with you and why they were so powerful. Did you have a goal to achieve? Did you find commonality through shared experiences?
