JANUARY TEA NOTES

JANUARY 2020
Ringing in a new year means new beginnings and endings for many. It's the beginning of a new year, and this year it is the beginning of a new decade as well! We have a lot of great things planned for our little family tea company in 2020, and hope that you'll be excited to participate with us in all of our new adventures, and that you take our teas and other products on some of yours! Read below and learn about our tea, spice, and essential oil of the month!
Tea of the Month: Irish Pu Erh

Irish Pu Erh is one of our favorite Pu Erh blends! While most PU ERH BLENDS tend to be woodsy and dessert-like, our Irish Pu Erh is bright, fruit-forward, and refreshing! It is a metabolism and digestion booster and will encourage muscle recover post workout: this makes this energizing blend  a great gym companion and fitness booster!

Irish Pu Erh is a blend of Pu Erh tea leaves, Yerba Mate, lemongrass, apple pieces, natural apple flavor, and rose hips.

Though the ingredients are not in Irish origin, this blend was inspired by a tea called "Pu Erh Fitness Tea" from a cute little tea shop in Dublin!

Read more about why we love this blend in one of our BLOG POST DEDICATED TO IRISH PU ERH!
Spices of the Month: Tea Seed Oil Infused with Garlic & Black Pepper and Himalayan Pink Sea Salt

January is usually dedicated to fresh starts - ranging from new relationships to a new way of thinking to a fresh start in the gym and a fresh diet! To go along with that mentality, here is a recipe for Fresh Cucumber Tomato Salad, featuring our Organic Tea Seed Oil infused with Garlic & Black Pepper and Himalayan Pink Sea Salt! Check out the recipe here!
Essential Oil of the Month: Sweet Orange
Sweet Orange Essential Oil is one of my favorite oils to diffuse and wear! It has a very pleasant, slightly sweet, citrusy, and invigorating scent that is an effective mood booster! It is recommended to be used in the morning as you're waking up, or in the afternoon during that slump when you need a little boost of energy! Not only is it great to uplift your mood, but it also helps strengthen the immune system and has antiseptic properties, perfect during the middle of flu season!

Try diffusing it in this Happy New Year Diffuser Blend below!
Happy New Year!

We hope that you're able to find a fresh start in the new year! Take the time to let go and reflect on 2019, and strive to make 2020 that much better for you, your family and your friends!

Happy New Year to you all!

🌱 Maggie & the OBTC family
