Celebrations of holidays happen all over the world, and tea has been a part of holiday celebrations for thousands of years! We think it's pretty cool that we get to celebrate with tea to this day, and we are especially thankful that we get to share our tea with all of you for the holidays! Check out these classic teas that are celebrated with around the world…
JAPAN

Japan is home to Matcha, a grounded bright green powder made from pure green tea leaves. Matcha is sometimes used in a traditional Japanese ceremony called "Chado," (Way of Tea.) The matcha is prepared and presented, and represents tranquility, purity and harmony.

INDIA

Ginger Chai

The national drink of India is Chai, and just as expected, chai is always present in times of celebration. In Indian cultures, Chai is offered to any guests as a symbol of hospitality and community.

ARGENTINA

Yerba Maté

Yerba Maté is a way of life in Argentina, as the tradition of drinking this tea in a gourd with a bombilla straw has been passed down through generations. This tea is packed full of vitamins and minerals, and gives you an extra caffeine boost. The Yerba Maté tree is known as a gift from the gods by the South American Guarani natives.

CHINA

Osmanthus Oolong

In Chinese culture, tea is the center of many gatherings, meetings and celebrations, as it is an important part of daily life. The country has produced hundreds of different teas for centuries and is well known for Oolong, Jasmine and Pu Erh tea. The art of making tea in China is called Cha Dao, and is linked to philosophies of balance and harmony, and is ritualized in tea ceremonies.
