SELF CARE SATURDAY
✨ sip & love yourself ✨
Our intention this month is to strengthen connections with others. Learning to connect with yourself will allow you to connect even deeper with those you love! Here's how to incorporate a tea ritual into your self care routine.
BUILDING A TEA RITUAL
Making time for self-care is essential for your mental health. Whether you meditate, take quiet evening walks, or focus on positive thoughts while enjoying your favorite tea, allowing your mind to rest makes room for more thoughtfulness, more joy, and more connection.
If you don't do some form of self care at least once a week, start now because it's life changing!
Try practicing a tea ritual to elevate your mindfulness! A tea ritual can be many things, but to put it simply, it is just taking a certain portion out of the day and practicing a routine that helps you reach a new level of intention, reflection, and mindfulness. The key is to focus on the process. There is something meditative about the steam of hot water, the burst of color into liquid, and the aromas of a freshly brewed cup. For your tea ritual, the goal is find joy in the simple process of making yourself a cup of comforting and healthy tea.
START WITH A CUP
Pick your favorite mug or tea-brewing device that brings you joy and that you find particularly pleasing to the eye. It should preferably have meaning to you and something you use specifically for your self-care time.
You may have the perfect mug in mind already - that is great! Use it! If not, this bright and happy cup and coaster is one that brings us joy and might for you too. 💛
CHOOSE A TEA THAT SPEAKS TO YOU
Our Lavender Creme Brûlée is one of our favorite mind-calming teas and is one of our best sellers for a reason! This naturally caffeine free blend is creamy, decadent, and naturally sweet. It is a wholesome way to appease a sweet tooth, get a dose of antioxidants, and promote wellness.
This blend is lovely served hot with a spoonful of honey and a dash of cream!
SET ASIDE TIME FOR YOURSELF
Establish a time each day to slowly and thoughtfully prepare your tea and practice other self care rituals. Choose a time that will best allow you to connect with yourself and be present in your environment. Use this time to set intentions for the day, to reflect, or to simply focus on your breath.
