Marigold: The Sun Flower
🌞 skin healing ∙ antioxidant rich ∙ immune boosting 🌞
Marigolds are considered sacred flowers to the Aztec culture, and are often linked to the sun and represent power, strength, and light that live in a person. Aztecs also attributed healing and even magical powers to the plant.
It is said that marigold seeds were given to Spanish explorers by the Aztec people, and the explorers brought them back to Spain, where they grew in monastery gardens.Â
✨ We love the healing properties and the bright sunny appearance of marigolds so much that they are in many of our tea blends. To identify if a tea blend contains marigold, just look for the bright yellow petals that weave in and out of the tea leaves. ✨
