Happy Fall, y'all! We are coming at you with another tea cocktail featuring our tea of the month, Apple Empanada.
This creation celebrates the spirit of Fall and reminds us of the pleasures of the season: baking homemade treats, playing in the fallen leaves, dancing under the harvest moon, and yes, bobbing for apples!
I N G R E D I E N T S
- 1 cup water
- 5 cloves
- 1 tsp Vietnamese Cinnamon
- 1 piece star anise
- 6 teaspoons of Apple Empanada
- 1 tablespoon Sunflower raw and unfiltered honey
- 2 ounces brandy (Or dark rum/whiskey)
- An apple cut into small cubes
D I R E C T I O N S
Step 1 - In a small pot, combine water and spices. Bring the water to boil, and remove from heat.
Step 2 - Add Apple Empanada tea and steep for 10 minutes. The apple and cinnamon aroma could make anyone swoon!
Step 3 - Strain into large mug and stir in Sunflower Honey. Float brandy, rum or whiskey on top of the drink by pouring it over the top of the spoon.
Drop apple cubes on top for an extra fresh apple flavor and watch them bob!
This is the perfect cocktail to get into the Fall mood. We recommend enjoying by the fireside with your warmest slippers and your favorite conversation mate.
