IN A NUTSHELL:

Grown in South Africa's Cederberg region, rooibos comes from a plant found naturally in this small corner of the world. So, how does rooibos "red bush" get so red? After harvest, the leaves are bruised and left to oxidize, transforming them from gree to their signature rusty-red color. This same process also develops the deeper, warmer flavor that sets red rooibos from its fresher, lighter green counterpart.

The result is a mellow, full-bodied cup with earthy, slightly woody notes and a wonderfully smooth finish.

1 - 2 teaspoons in 8 oz of hot water for 5 - 10 minutes.
