I love all of OBTC's coffee blends, so I was excited to see a brand new one in the seasonal subscription box! I love the earthy, slightly grassy/herbal flavor that the green maté adds here, in contrast to the usual rich pu'erh (which I also love!). It makes for a somewhat lighter blend, but it still has a deep and dark, toasty coffee flavor. The cinnamon and cacao are subdued, but give it a gentle sweetness and make for a comforting cuppa. It's not an overtly desserty or decadent blend, more like a cup of smooth black coffee with a sprinkling of cinnamon and cocoa powder. It's lovely and I'll have to pick up the full size the next time I order!
