INGREDIENTS:
pu erh tea
Country of Origin: China
TASTING NOTES:
earthy ∙ rich ∙ smooth
IN A NUTSHELL:
Aged Pu Erh is dark, earthy, and unlike just about any other tea. Pu Erh goes through a unique fermentation and aging process, allowing the leaved to slowly develop deeper, more complex flavors over time.
Pu Erh has been made in China's Yunnan Province for centuries and was traditionally compressed into cakes and bricks, making it easier to carry along long-distance tea trade routes.
The cup is bold and remarkably smooth, with deep earthy notes and a rich, grounded character. It's an ancient style of tea that every tea drinker should experience at least once.
