The Gratitude Challenge

No complaints - just gratitude.

Here are some tips to keeping your gratitude game strong...

1. DON'T QUIT.

Did you mess up and complain? Forget about it, move on, and get back into the challenge! Practice makes perfect.

2. ZOOM OUT.

If negativity creeps into your mind try zooming out to see the bigger picture. Much of our suffering comes from fixating on details that are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Don't get bogged down by petty frustrations.

3. PRAY OR MEDITATE.

If you are feeling bogged down, try focusing on the source of your frustration in a loving prayer or meditation. Breathe, send out love, and be gentle on yourself as you work out how to frame a situation more compassionately.

4. GET INSPIRED.

Read something uplifting, watch a ted talk, or spend time with a friend who makes you feel joyful. Joy is contagious - surround yourself with it.

5. DO GOOD.

Do something kind for someone else. Doing good, makes us feel good. Knowing we have the ability to help others makes us feel more confident, less worried, and more joyful.
