MATCHA ICE CREAM
Sweetened with Orange Blossom Honey
đ đ đ
It's ice cream season, and yes, we are definitely making tea ice cream. It is possible, and it is GOOD! This Matcha ice cream recipe is perfectly creamy, with those signature earthy green flavors of Matcha. The best perk is that this ice cream has citrus notes of Orange Blossom Honey, and sweet and smooth Mexican Vanilla flavor. This ice cream recipe is fast, easy, and perfect as an alternative to store bought ice cream. This ice cream doesn't contain stabilizers like store bought ice cream, so plan to eat it quickly! (You will want to anyways, trust us.)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cans condensed milk, 400 mL each
- 6 Tbsp. OBTC Matcha Powder
- 2 Tbsp. OBTC Orange Blossom Honey
- 2 tsp. OBTC Mexican Vanilla Bean Extract
- 2 cups heavy cream
INSTRUCTIONS
- Whisk together your condensed milk, Matcha Powder, Orange Blossom Honey, and Mexican Vanilla Bean Extract and set aside.
- With your electric mixer on medium-high speed, mix until your heavy cream has firm peaks.
- Bit by bit, fold your whipped cream into your condensed milk mix (as you always want the heavier ingredients on the bottom) until theyâre blended together.
- Once everything has been blended together, pour into a chilled container and freeze until solid. This usually will take overnight, or can be made in an ice cream machine!
