light • woodsy • earthy
Our new Eucalyptus Honey is completely unique and unlike any other honey you've had before! It has a beautiful silky texture with light earthy and woodsy tasting notes. This honey is ideal to stir into green and white teas, as it doesn't alter the flavor of the tea too much and instead just adds the perfect element of sweetness as the woodsy and earthy notes complement and enhance the natural flavors of these teas.
Did You Know?
All of our raw and unfiltered honeys are named after the type of plant bees pollinate. To get specific, unique and most importantly natural flavors of honey, beehives are strategically placed in fields, orchards or groves where a majority of one plant grows so that the bees are likely to pollinate those plants, and therefore, their honey is naturally infused with those essences.
Raw honey has been used as a folk remedy throughout history and has a variety of health benefits and medical uses. Here are just a few:
- Raw honey is packed with antioxidants, which help protect your body from cell damage due to free radicals. Free radicals contribute to the aging process and may also contribute to the development of chronic diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.
- Research has shown that raw honey can kill unwanted bacteria and fungus. It naturally contains hydrogen peroxide, an antiseptic.
- Raw honey is a potent prebiotic, meaning it nourishes the good bacteria that live in the intestines, which are crucial not only for digestion but overall health.
