Happy Morning. Happy You.
Put some intention into your morning routine!
As we are transitioning out of the playfulness of summertime and into the productive nature of the fall season, we are building and establishing routines to keep us focused, energized and organized. When you build routines into your life, you unleash the magical power of focus and intentionality-the two things that help us reach our full potential!
Here are 4 things you can do starting tomorrow!
⬇
1: BE CONSISTENT.
Step number one is to wake up at the same time each day, which will be easier if you go to sleep at the same time each night. Quality sleep is the first stepping stone to improving your productivity, so get that internal clock in check and you are on your way to your peak self.
2: HYDRATE.
As soon as you wake up, drink water! Water helps your body digest the food you eat, absorb nutrients, purge toxins, and promotes youthful skin (prevents wrinkles) and healthy hair (adds a shine). Just think, you've been asleep and have not been able to hydrate in hours! Enjoy a glass or two of water as you start preparing your morning tea or coffee.
3: MOVE YOUR BODY
Gently stretch, take your morning tea or coffee on a walk outside, follow along with a Qi-gong video on youtube, or opt for any form of exercise that feels invigorating to you. The goal is to promote circulation and boost mood, setting the tone for a healthy and happy day.
4: DO SOME SELF CARE
Whether your version of self care is taking a hot shower with essential oils, reading an uplifting book, enjoying quiet time outside, or meditating, practicing just one form of self care like this can build your confidence, drown out negativity and put you in a good mood instantly.
If you aren't a morning person, start small. Just picking one motivating thing to practice or do in the morning can ignite that intentionality that results in a rewarding and fulfilling day.
