Mexican Hot Chocolate is blended with a black tea base, toasted maté tea, cocoa nibs, cocoa powder, AND chocolate chips. Along with all of the rich chocolate flavors, this blend also has notes of hazelnut, cinnamon, and a hint of Hatch, New Mexico Red Chile powder, making it a one of a kind spicy, hot chocolate. It is not only delicious, it is also is a healthier option when it comes to hot chocolate! 🥰
This tea is energizing, immune boosting, and is rich in antioxidants. Drink in the a.m. as a coffee substitute or to appease a sweet tooth.
We recommend serving Mexican Hot Chocolate with a dollop of our Mexican Vanilla Bean Honey and a splash of cream (or your favorite dairy alternative). Top with marshmallows. ✨

INGREDIENTS:
black tea, chocolate chips, toasted maté tea, marigold flowers, cocoa nibs, cocoa powder, cinnamon, Hatch New Mexico red chile powder, hazelnut, and natural flavors
STEEP:
1-2 teaspoons in 8 oz of hot water for 7-10 minutes

I was so sad when I couldn’t find the mexican hot chocolate recently – it’s been my absolute favorite since I moved to ABQ 5 years ago. I don’t know what I’ll do this winter without it! This year I was finally going to buy a whole jar after a few years of only getting tins – plus present tins for all my friends and family.

Please bring back the Mexican Hot Chocolate tea 😭 After I tried it the first time, every year when I came to visit for Christmas I made a trip to the tea shop to get more Mexican Hot Chocolate and try new teas. I was so sad to hear it had been discontinued 😔
