CINCO DE MAYO PLANS IN THE MAKING
Cinco De Mayo is a fun time to be in New Mexico. As many of you know, we'll take any excuse to cook up a bunch of delicious Mexican Food, make iced HORCHATA TEA for the family, and craft a herbaceous margarita. We know it's not really celebrated in Mexico, but in New Mexico it is a time to eat great food, play in the sunshine, and enjoy time with your dearest loved ones.
This year is going to be a little different though. With social distancing orders still in place, we are all brainstorming ways to celebrate properly when May 5th rolls around. While we may not be surrounded by our friends and family this year, we still want to spend the day eating great food and soaking up sunshine while planting a Salsa Garden! We'll plant this garden as a seed of hope: our little salsa garden will remind us that we'll be harvesting the ingredients to prepare the freshest salsa for our friends and family very soon! ️
RECIPES TO COME
Our family loves salsa. While we all have our go-to recipes, we are also constantly exploring new salsa and chile recipes. Stay tuned for some of our favorites!
HOPE YOU'RE ALL HAVING A DAY FULL OF GREAT FOOD, PLAYFUL CONVERSATIONS, AND LIGHT-HEARTED FEELINGS.
