When baking/cooking with honey, there are a few characteristics that make it different than baking with sugar.
- Honey browns more quickly. So try baking honey-sweetened batters at a slightly lower temperature.
- Honey is naturally sweeter than sugar. Try using 1/2 to 2/3 cup honey for every cup of sugar in your recipe.
