A CHARMINGLY RUSTIC TOWN FULL OF RICH HISTORY
This week marks a special occasion for our little tea company - it's our 3 year anniversary of sharing our love of tea with you in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Back in its heyday, Golden was a gold rush town. When you walk the quaint streets of downtown Golden, you are immersed in a land where times seems to have stopped. The large mountains tower over the town and old fashioned buildings line the streets as tales of the Wild West lay in the foundation of the town's history. When you walk into the Old Barrel Tea Co. in Golden, you instantly feel connected with the past, as the space is reminiscent of an old general store or trading post with an open concept that connects to other small shops. Its is bright, airy, and a completely friendly place to be.
Our team is Golden is just so GOLDEN! They are all laid back, relatable funny, and incredibly friendly. They belong to a community that places kindness above all else, and it really shows. They see their neighbors that they share their space with as family, and treat every customer that comes in with that same open arms type of companionship. They are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to learn new facts every day about tea and honey.
Stop by the store to meet Heather, Kateri, Lauren, Chris and Cameron.
THINKING ABOUT VISITING GOLDEN?
✨ HERE'S THE SCOOP ✨
Just west of Denver, Golden offers so many great experiences. It's home to 6 museums, the Coors Brewery, and a downtown filled with shops and restaurants. The community is small and supportive. Festivals, holiday parades, and charity auctions happen almost monthly and our little tea shop has had the opportunity to meet many of the locals though these events. Golden is also home to miles of hiking trails, stellar rock climbing, and Clear Creek, a whitewater park that runs through the center of town that offers rafting, tubing, and fishing. Clear Creek is also the very thing that brought the gold miners to town all those years ago!

GOLDEN CUSTOMER FAVORITE:
💛 💛 💛 💛
There's a reason why this bad boy is a favorite amongst customers! This infuser can make an 8 oz serving of tea or a 64 oz serving, depending on how many leaves you add! This infuser has fine enough grating to prevent even the finest leaves from leaking into your cup and it is incredibly durable!
