IN A NUTSHELL:
Silver needle tea is one of the most prized teas in the world and is very time consuming in harvest. It is made from the first tender buds of the tea plant, which are only available for a few weeks out of the year. This tea is delicate, naturally sweet, and packed with nutrients and antioxidants. It ages beautifully, developing richer, more complex flavors over time.

BREW TIPS:
For the best experience, brew this tea gongfu style - a traditional Chinese method using a small teapot or gaiwan with short, repeated infusions.
No gongfu-style teaware? No problem! Simply steep the entire cake in an infuser or brew it in a teapot, then strain before serving.
Store ina cool, dry place to allow for proper aging.
STEEP:
To awaken the tea leaves, rinse them in 175℉ water for 5 - 10 seconds, then discard the water. This step enhances the tea's evolving the tea's evolving flavors with each steep.
For subsequent infusions, steep for 10 - 15 seconds, gradually increasing the time to suit your taste.
This tea is meant to be enjoyed as a ritual, with multiple infusions throughout the day. If you'd like to continue using the tea leaves beyond the same day, be sure to refrigerate them overnight to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
